A relaxed, fully guided maternity experience for Edmonton moms who want to feel beautiful in their photos - without having to figure everything out on their own.
Edmonton
Maternity Photographer
My role is to make this experience feel easy and supportive, while still leaving room for it to feel like you. I offer guidance every step of the way - from sharing trusted hair and makeup recommendations to helping you style your session, whether that means choosing from my client closet or bringing in pieces you already love.
During the session, I provide gentle direction and space for things to unfold naturally. The result is maternity portraits that feel personal and meaningful for your family - images your child will one day look back on and see just how loved they were before they had even arrived.
After your maternity session, many families return for newborn photography in my Beaumont studio. You can learn more about my newborn sessions here.

Let's document the beginning of your
greatest adventure
Pregnancy changes so much, including the way many women see themselves.
It's easy to focus on everything that feels different - the clothes that no longer fit quite the same, the swollen feet, the constant tiredness, or the changes happening faster than you can keep up with. It can be exciting, uncomfortable, emotional, and exhausting - sometimes all in the same afternoon.
My hope is that when you see your photographs, you see yourself a little differently.
I want you to look back and recognize yourself. Not a version that's overly posed or edited beyond recognition, but you - looking genuinely beautiful in a way that still feels completely like you.
I'll guide you through every part of the experience, from helping you choose what to wear or helping you choose pieces from my client closet, to gently directing you throughout our time together so you never have to wonder what to do. We'll spend an evening together in beautiful light, chatting, moving at a comfortable pace, and creating photographs that feel natural. Whether you're expecting your first baby or adding another little one to your family, my goal is for you to leave with photographs that look and feel like you at your very best.

Ready to begin planning your
Maternity session?
This season of life can feel busy - take some time to slow down, embrace your body and connect with your partner before your little one arrives.
To schedule your session I recommend contacting me any time after 12 weeks, and booking your maternity session at the beginning of your third trimester when your belly is beautifully round but you are not too uncomfortable. The session can be done at an outdoor location in the Edmonton area, at my studio in Beaumont or in the comfort of your own home.

Frequently Asked Questions
When should I contact you to book my Maternity Session?
Send me a message when you reach your second trimester to schedule your session. I recommend booking at around 30 weeks when your bump is beautifully round but you're still not too uncomfortable.
Where will my session take place?
You will fill out a pre-session questionnaire or we will chat on the phone to give me an idea of the type of session you're envisioning, and from there I can give suggestions on locations. Whether you were wanting a cozy home session, outdoors at sunset by the river or in a hilled field of long grasses. You also have the option of a studio session at my studio in Beaumont, which is styled with light and neutral colours and natural textures. There is also the option of several studio spaces that I use in Edmonton, depending on the look you would like to achieve. I am always open to something totally unique as well so feel free to chat with me if you have some place different in mind.
What if the weather doesn't cooperate?
The weather doesn't always follow our plans, especially here in Alberta. If the forecast isn't looking great, we'll chat about the best option. Sometimes that means moving your session to another evening, and other times it means photographing your session in my Beaumont studio instead. There is never any pressure to stand outside in the wind or rain just because it's your scheduled date. I'd much rather wait for beautiful conditions - or move indoors - than compromise on your experience or your photographs.
How long do maternity sessions last?
Most maternity sessions last about an hour. That gives us plenty of time to move around, chat, and create a gallery with lots of variety without feeling rushed.
Do you help choose a location?
Yes. Once I learn a little about the look you're hoping for, I'll recommend locations that fit your vision. Whether you're drawn to open fields, river valley trails, an in-home session, or my Beaumont studio, I'll help you choose a location that complements your family without taking the focus away from you.
Can my partner and children be a part of the session?
Yes! Everyone is welcome including your pets. If it is your first baby expect around an hour of calm moments with your partner, soaking up the last moments of just the two of you. If your other child or children will be coming expect a fun family session with some snuggles and lots of laughter.
I am very awkward in front of the camera, will you show us what to do?
My maternity sessions are very relaxed and usually involve a lot of laughs so don't be nervous about not knowing what to do! I will guide the session along and give lots of help with posing, while also capturing the sweet candid moments that happen as well.
What should I wear for my maternity session
After booking, you'll receive my styling guide to help you choose outfits that photograph beautifully. I also have a client closet with a selection of maternity dresses and outfits for older siblings up to 4T available to borrow for your session. Whether you choose one of my dresses or something from your own closet, I'm happy to help you put everything together so you don't have to second guess your choices.
What if my toddler doesn't cooperate?
Toddlers are wonderfully unpredictable, and I never expect them to stand still and smile at the camera. My sessions are designed with little ones in mind, giving them plenty of opportunities to move, explore, cuddle, and interact naturally with you. Some of my favourite images come from those in-between moments, and I'll gently guide everyone without expecting perfection.
Can I include my pet?
Absolutely! Dogs are part of the family too, and I'm always happy to include them when the location allows. If you'd like to bring your pup, let me know when we're planning your session so we can choose the best location and make a plan for after they're finished being photographed.
