6 Month Milestone Photography in Edmonton

I did photographed Cassandra's Maternity and Newborn session and then captured this sweet little 6 month milestone photography session of her and Emmett in Edmonton. He was such a happy little camper for the entire session which I think had a lot to do with his Mother's calm and loving energy. This was my first session using a canvas backdrop which I had hand painted and I was so pleased with the light and soft feel of the images. It was a very cold and snowy week in Edmonton and I think we were all patiently awaiting some warmer weather, so I decided to add in some fresh Tulips to evoke a feeling of Spring and New beginnings.

Gear used: Sony A7iii, 35 mm 1.8 lens.

6 months is such a sweet age to photograph - the smiles, their little personalities really starting to shine through, their proud expressions when they roll and their little scoots or crawls across the floor. Parents are welcome in Milestone sessions and the client closet is included as well - so no worrying about what you or baby will wear - you just show up and love on your little one while I worry about the rest.
